Exciting Updates

There is always something happening behind the scenes at the Challenger MTB Race and have we got some news for you. Remember this is a newly redesigned course including nearly 2 miles of unseen trails, a brand new 1/2 mile Prologue to thin out the pack, more WIDE passing areas, a heckle pit, and plenty of course arrows providing ample notice on the trail. This course is FAST, FUN, and has Great FLOW.

  1. The official 2018 Challenger Course Map is available to view or download in PDF format from our web site. A big thanks to Tom Burrows for creating the amazing map.

  2. We’ve updated our website. Photos, Videos, and other digital media can all be found under the “Media” section. Check out the 2017 Race Recap Video created by Henry Daniluk, and first person view video of the Women’s Cat 2 Race courtesy of Vecon Sports. If you have race footage from your helmet cam and would like to share it please send us an email info@challengermtb.com

  3. Registration is open for the 2018 Challenger. 1st Eight people in each age group will get call ups to the front row. Sign up Now on Bike Reg.

  4. Volunteers are needed to participate in trail maintenance days, as well as volunteer the day before (set up) and Race Day. Our first trail work day is Sunday, April, 15th starting at 9am. We will have FREE coffee, bagels & cream cheese + 1 random volunteer will receive a FREE container of Stan’s NoTubes. Please use our Sign Up link to join this Sunday’s work party.

  5. Volunteers who donate a total of 10 hours of volunteer effort (trail work, day before for set up, or Race Day) will receive a free entry to the 2018 challenger.

  6. Yes, we will have the Cat 4 Novice/First Timers race again. If you know someone who likes to ride off road, then this would be a great opportunity to show them the world of Mountain Bike Racing!

  7. Sign up for our email list so you get advanced notice on all Challenger Race updates.
